Wignalls 2010 Shiraz
Our 2010 Shiraz is announced by intense white and black pepper derived from the classic dry summer. Complex fruitful aromas have also been intensified with subtle blend of American and French oaks handling with minimal charring.
The palate has flavour’s of blackberry, cassis, raspberry and spice with fruit based sweetness. Wild yeast derived from the vineyard are allowed to ferment this wine, with zero sulphur used in the winemaking process until bottling.
This full bodied Shiraz is drinking well on release, but will benefit with cellaring over the next six years due to the medium weight tannins.
